What are SEND Policies and SEN Information Reports?

We aim for all of the information for parents and carers to be made available on the school website in an easy to access format. Our SEN parent and carers working party have reviewed how information is shared and the website has been co-constructed with their help. 

This SEND Information report aims to be parent friendly and not onerous to read.

The SEND policy is reviewed annually by the SENCo, headteacher, SEND team and is shared with the school’s  governors.

Each year, we produce an SEN Information report which is in line with the requirements of the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice 2015.

Accessibility Policy

Clee Hill Community Academy's accessibility plan is in line with the school’s special educational needs policy with the aim of ensuring that our school is physically, socially, and academically inclusive, that all pupils have access to a full curriculum, and that all pupils are appropriately challenged. The policy sets out priorities for increasing and improving the accessibility for SEND pupils across all aspects of school life.
